Marginalized bodies to the centerstage. 

The Soft Collectives aka Pehmee mission is to create representation and spaces for marginalized bodies in media, art, fashion and culture. We want to upkeep and improve methods and practices that we have learned through our activism and created ourselves. Our focus is in evolving and pushing towards equality is way beyond representation issues and community work but we believe grassroots is where we can make the biggest impact with the resources we have available for us.

As a collective we create, produce and curate pieces, content, events and spaces. We have worked with several different medias like podcast, radio, video and social media. We have designed festival concepts and journalistic content with the most interesting art and cultural platforms in Finland like Flow festival, The Ministry of Justice, Ruisrock and Ruskeat Tytöt Media. The Soft Collective is the most known for their events that are based on safer spaces guidelines and bipoc queer liberation.
